Touchpoints

While looking for a choir resource book I came across a book called "Touchpoints" and thought that it would be a good topic for a blog.... Then I started to think about what would go into such a blog... hmmm not as much as I originally thought but I'm going to explore it anyway!

What are some touchpoints in my life that have made a difference? sw has given me many touchpoints... time to sit back and review what I believe and question those points of interest that I'm not quite sure about... but with sw's past work schedule and recent departure I find I miss those check ins... but to my surprise and pleasure ML has stepped up and started questioning what I write about... I love the idea that someone cares enough to do that and to offer their thoughts and feelings on topics that I bring up.

Another "touchpoint" for me was last week. We had an family gathering all 12 of us in one house... while it was chaotic the reconnections that were strengthened and the new connections that were formed were well worth the chaos. But through all the chaos came a lesson... for as much as I love my family I love the quiet Zen of the house when all are gone. As ML pointed out there is a time and place for chaos and a reson to be found in it. All in all the gathering was great! I look forward to seeing them again in August!

Speaking of August... the Master/slave conference is right around the corner... I will be registering for it on Friday when I get paid! WooHoo!!! I haven't been out there to see what's going on yet ... I wonder if there will be any piercing? hmmmmm...... I'll chat with MC to see if he is going....

MAsT is this weekend... I'm sorry to see it fall apart just because sw is gone and MC is planning to leave too... I'm not sure what else I can do to keep it going.... again the apathy of Maine steps up to the plate! ARGHHH!!!!
