I sit here staring at the brilliant light of a blue candle feeling connected yet so far away wondering if I made the right choice. Is the distance too great? Is the need for contact too strong? I never thought I would feel this distant when my only local slave sister left... Besides the s. portland SC! But today I found it so hard to read about all the upcoming activities ML and sb will be attending knowing that here in Maine there is very little happening (heck... nothing is happening) even at Blackstones and the Sportsmans... nothing is happening! I know August is only a couple of months away but how does that help now? Let's hope that with a couple of weeks of deep cleaning facing me this feeling will too pass...
Mothers day was wonderful we shopped... we played... we talked... we sang... we cooked... we were present to each other... what a gift!
